The applicant submits the complete Global Investor Programme application form (including both electronic and printed versions) to the Singapore Economic Development Board.

The Singapore Economic Development Board invites the applicant for an interview.

If the applicant meets the assessment criteria, they will receive a letter of in-principle approval from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for the Global Investor Programme. The validity period of this approval letter is six months.

Within the six-month validity period of the in-principle approval letter, the applicant must implement the investments committed in the application form.

After implementing the investments, the applicant must submit relevant supporting documents (such as certified copies of share certificates, bank statements, and other legal documents) and a certificate of guarantee for the investment terms and conditions to the Singapore Economic Development Board.

After confirming the relevant supporting documents, the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will issue the final approval letter for the Global Investor Programme to the applicant. (Scheme C applicants must prove that they have invested no less than SGD 50 million in the specified investment categories within twelve months from the issuance date of the final approval letter.)

Within twelve months of receiving the final approval letter for the Global Investor Programme, the applicant must complete the necessary procedures to formally become a Singapore permanent resident.
