[Age 50 or Above]

• No property purchase required
• Dependants include spouse, parents, children under 21 years old (including stepchildren), and disabled children
• Part-time work and business investment in the local area are allowed

[Age 30 – 49]

• In Kuching: Purchase property valued at a minimum of 600,000 MYR
• In other regions: Purchase property valued at a minimum of 500,000 MYR
• Dependants include spouse, parents, and children under 21 years old (studying in Sarawak)
• The main applicant and spouse can receive long-term medical treatment in Sarawak
• No business investment or employment allowed in the local area

Application Requirements for All Age Groups:

1. Fixed Deposit: 150,000 MYR for single applicants; 300,000 MYR for families

2. Proof of Monthly Income: 7,000 MYR/month for single applicants; 10,000 MYR/month for families

3. Minimum stay of 30 days per year (accumulative)

4. Visa validity: 10 years

5. After one year, up to 40% of the fixed deposit can be withdrawn for property purchase, vehicle purchase, education, or medical purposes.

1. Age Requirement: 30 years and above

2. Fixed Deposit Requirement: 150,000 MYR for single applicants; 300,000 MYR for families
(After 2 years, you may apply to withdraw up to 40% of the fixed deposit, provided you present proof of expenses related to property purchase, vehicle purchase, children’s education, or medical costs.)

3. Monthly Income Requirement: Minimum 10,000 MYR/month for single applicants; minimum 15,000 MYR/month for families

4. Property Purchase: Must purchase property valued at 600,000 MYR or more
(Property can only be sold after 5 years from the date of purchase. Upon resale after 5 years, the new property must be of higher value and at least 600,000 MYR.)

5. Residency Requirement: Must stay in Sabah for a minimum of 30 days per year (accumulative)

6. Visa Validity: 10 years

7. Eligible Dependants: Spouse, parents, parents-in-law, and children under 21 years old (including adopted/stepchildren)

8. Business Investment: Allowed to engage in local business investments; employment in Sabah is not permitted
