The Singapore Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is issued by the Ministry of Manpower or the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, depending on the applicant’s profile.
It allows certain family members of Singapore residents or work pass holders to stay in Singapore for an extended period. This pass is commonly used when family members are not eligible for a Dependant’s Pass (DP).

- Hold an Employment Pass (EP) or S Pass but your family member does not qualify for DP
- Are a Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR)
- Wish to bring extended family members to Singapore

✔ Handicapped children above 21 years old
✔ Parents (for eligible EP holders or Singapore citizens/PRs)
✔ Other dependants under special circumstances
Key Requirements
For EP / S Pass Holders
- Must meet minimum salary requirements
- Must be employed by a Singapore-registered company
For Singapore Citizens / PRs
- Must prove family relationship
- Must show financial ability to support the applicant
Each case is assessed individually by authorities
Processing Time
- Standard: 3–8 weeks
- May take longer for complex or ICA-assessed cases
